Sinds 1 maart is Samuel Ekpo werkzaam bij Mara. Hij is actief in het programma ‘Ondersteuning van migranten’ als projectmedewerker HUB. Wij wensen hem veel succes en werkplezier bij Mara!

Graag stelt hij zich aan u voor:
‘Greetings from Spijkenisse, the Netherlands! I’m Samuel John Ekpo, a theologian by training and currently a project staff at Stichting Mara. My duties are to create a liaison for Churches in Den Haag through a HUB concept called “Geloof in Den Haag”. In addition, I am part of the publication team for the Guide International Churches in The Hague.

I am from the South-Eastern Part of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State to be precised. I am married to Mrs. Ufuoma Pamela Ekpo, who is a Dutch social care worker. I hold a Master’s degree in Theology (with specialization in Systematic Theology and Philosophy of Religions) from Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands, a Bachelor of Arts in Theology (Christian Education Major), a diploma in Computer Science from Ogun State University (now known as Olabisi Onabanjo University) Nigeria respectively.

As part of my volunteer activities, I served as a chauffeur for stichting Mara for the Open House project to integrate refugees at the shelters in Rotterdam. On a social side, I am active in Dutch Politics and a party member of ChristenUnie (CU).

I love music and playing instruments like the keyboard/piano and networking with likeminded people.’
